We’re pleased to announce that our brand new Provost IT Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity and Emergency Resources Portal is now available at this link. On this new portal, you’ll find a comprehensive list of tools to assist faculty and staff, including:
- Connecting to campus resources remotely
- Holding meetings or classes via video conferencing technologies such as Zoom and Slack
- Forwarding your USC desk phone to an alternate location
You can also find information for how to reach Provost IT for remote technical support, including after-hours or when you are away from campus. Information about our own IT business continuity plans is also available. Provost IT maintains one of the most robust disaster recovery and internal business continuity plans of any campus business unit.
You are encouraged to share this information with your colleagues and teams whose IT support is provided by USC Provost IT. The best and most up-to-date information on COVID-19 (coronavirus) as it pertains to USC can be found online at usc.edu/coronavirus. At that site, you can find a copy of recent campus advisories and alerts, extensive information for faculty on how to conduct courses online, as well as information for campus groups planning events.
