Xerox scanning services allow users to automatically email documents to themselves or others that they scan on a Xerox Workcentre all-in-one copy machine.

This service is different from the regular printing and multipurpose features of the Xerox machines. If you have a mechanical problem with your department's Xerox machine, such as a deep paper jam for example, please contact Xerox directly through the phone number listed on the sticker on the machine itself. Provost IT is only able to provide limited support for Xerox problems unless they relate to our print server. For questions about this, please contact Provost IT.

The scan-to-email feature of Xerox WorkCentre multipurpose copy machines allows users to scan a document and have it instantly sent to them or multiple people via email in any one of multiple forms (PDF, image, etc.). By default, this feature is enabled on all Provost-supported WorkCentre machines.
