Saturday – Sunday: Closed
Provost IT is also closed on predesignated university holidays. Voicemails left after-hours or during other designated closure times will be returned the next business day.
Other Contact Methods
Although very rare, there might be times when no phone support technicians are available during these hours. During these times, you may leave a voicemail and our team will return your call as soon as possible. Alternatively, using one of our other methods of obtaining assistance might solicit a quicker response and resolution to your issue.
After Hours Support
USC Information Technology Services has a 24-hour network operations center that can help resolve certain urgent inquiries, such as large-scale campus network outages and USCNet ID password resets, after hours. To reach the ITS Operations Center, call (213) 740-5555.
For urgent emergencies that occur after-hours with Provost software, services, applications or servers, please first check our status page and the ITS Alerts and Scheduled Maintenance page to ensure the service is not experiencing a known outage or is undergoing scheduled maintenance. If no outage notification or maintenance notification is already posted, you may submit a ticket to Provost IT with the “urgent” status and our staff will investigate.
