Provost IT is responsible for investigating and cleaning malware infections reported on the computers we support.
Malware can take many different forms, and it’s important that any suspected malware infection on a Provost IT-issued computer be reported as soon as possible. More information on what constitutes malware, as well as how you can keep your computer and information safe, can be found at Provost IT’s Information Security portal (link below).
If you suspect your Provost IT-issued or supported computer may be infected with malware, please contact us as soon as possible. We will work to clean any reported malware infection and ensure the safety of any data the infected computer had access to.
